The Most Important Business Meeting I Take Each Year
And why it happens in a luxury villa, not behind my desk.
Most entrepreneurs plan their year in a spreadsheet. I take mine to an island and let the ocean clear my mind. It sounds cheeky, indulgent, even. But this has become one of the most important rituals in my business.
Because what I’ve learned is this: when you choose to lead from resonance instead of reaction, the next move doesn’t need to be forced. It arrives.
Last week, I flew to Hamilton Island for our annual strategy retreat. I’d just come off a launch, the kind that stretches you in all the right ways, and instead of jumping straight into what’s next, I chose to do what most business owners never give themselves permission to.
I created space.
Not just in my calendar, but in my body. In my environment. In the way I think and feel and dream about what’s coming.
And let me tell you, there’s something wildly clarifying about planning your future while floating in a pool, watching sulphur-crested cockatoos cause chaos in the palm trees above. Between delicious lunches and pool swims, I didn’t just strategise. I softened. I remembered what I’m building and why I’m the one to lead it.
This whole ritual started last year in Port Douglas.
Back then, I had a group coaching program and Human Design readings as my main offers. I printed out my business overview, sat by the pool with a notebook and pen, and began asking different questions, not “What should I sell next?” but “What actually feels aligned now?” and “Where am I ready to grow?”
That clarity became the invitation. And the space I created? It made room for something else to land.
Not long after, Sassy (our AI Strategist) arrived, not as a brainstormed idea, but as a moment of perfect synchronicity. She wasn’t born out of pressure. She emerged because I finally got clear on how I wanted my business to feel.
And this year, I brought her to the island with me, but with even more power.
I briefed her with a custom expander prompt that included all of the major astrological transits for 2026 and 2027. Because she already knows my Human Design, Gene Keys, and Astrology, she was able to overlay all of it and create something I’ve never seen before, a frequency-aligned strategy map, including all my transition timings.
She showed me when to go global.
When to pitch media.
When to build slowly and strengthen foundations.
When to be visible, and when to rest.
It wasn’t just strategy. It was soul architecture.
Because I don’t want to grow by default. I want to grow by design. Intentionally. Devotionally. In a way that matches the depth of what I know I’m here to do.
This is how I choose to lead.
And if there’s one thing I want you to know from all of this, it’s that your best business decisions won’t arrive through overthinking. They’ll arrive when you give yourself space to hear what your future self already knows.
So if you’re in the noise, stuck in strategy loops, constantly searching for the next step… maybe it’s not more input you need.
Maybe it’s more resonance.
Book the villa. Pack the notebook. Bring your chart. And let your next move arrive from a place that already knows it belongs to you.
You don’t have to plan from pressure.
You get to plan from power.
